For almost 30 years, I have been playing on copies of my original O-er facing, FH. Together with Hannes Gleichweit, we have succeeded not only in preserving the original sound and character, but also in continuously refining and developing this facing according to my personal ideas — with every new copy and through the use of new materials. Not only I myself, but also my students benefit greatly from this close collaboration. It makes it easy to find the ideal individual combination of mouthpiece and reed for every player.
