What does the $40 cover?
The $40 is a flat test fee that covers the 7-day loan of the mouthpieces. It is not refundable and is not credited toward any purchase you make.
Can I keep more than one?
Yes — you can keep as many as you like. You will be invoiced for each one you retain at full price.
What if none of them work for me?
Return all five within 7 days and you will not be charged for any mouthpiece — just the $40 test fee which covers the service.
Do you provide a return label?
No — return shipping is at your own expense. We recommend using a tracked service, as the sender bears responsibility if the package is lost or damaged in transit.
Howdoes medium compare to closed or open?
Closed tip mouthpieces (below 1.17 mm) offer the tightest control and are favoured by orchestral players. Open tip mouthpieces (above 1.24 mm) produce a bigger, more flexible sound suited to solo and contemporary playing. Medium sits in between — versatile enough for most settings and the best place to start if you are unsure.

Care note: Most Gleichweit mouthpieces are made from synthetic material; select models are crafted from hard rubber. Either way, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat, which can cause discolouration over time. Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
