An open tip (1.27–1.40 mm) gives the reed maximum freedom to vibrate — producing a big, warm, resonant sound with expressive dynamic range. Open tips require more breath support but reward you with incredible tone richness and flexibility.

Can I keep more than one?
Absolutely. Keep as many as you like — you are charged for each one you keep at its standard retail price.
What if none of them work for me?
Return all five and you will receive a full refund. No questions asked. You might also try the Closed Tip Box if you prefer a tighter feel.
Care note: Most Gleichweit mouthpieces are made from synthetic material; select models are crafted from hard rubber. Either way, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat, which can cause discolouration over time. Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
