Description
The Gleichweit B8-2 Bb clarinet mouthpiece is a medium-tip Bb clarinet mouthpiece with an extended 25 mm facing – delivering exceptional tonal warmth, phrase flexibility, and a richly resonant sound that suits demanding solo and orchestral repertoire.
Precision-crafted on advanced CNC machinery from your choice of high-grade synthetic material or hard rubber, the B8-2 combines a 1.20 mm tip opening with a significantly longer facing. This pairing allows for a broader range of articulation styles and greater dynamic nuance compared to shorter-facing medium models.
The built-in O-ring system ensures a secure, airtight fit while protecting the instrument tenon.
The B8-2 rewards a player with a developed embouchure who wants expressive control and a singing, resonant tone – especially effective in lyrical passages and large-venue projection.
Every version of the B8-2 shares the same facing and tip opening – only the material, the tenon fitting and the tuning pitch differ. Select your version in the Bore menu above.
