Description
The Gleichweit JG7 E-flat clarinet mouthpiece (Boehm system) offering a slightly more open alternative to the JG6 – with a warmer tonal colour, increased projection, and greater expressive flexibility.
Made from ebonite for natural resonance, the JG7 features a 1.23 mm tip opening and a 23 mm facing – giving it a fractionally more open character than the JG6 while maintaining the precision intonation essential on the E-flat clarinet.
The built-in O-ring system ensures a secure, airtight fit while protecting the instrument tenon.
The JG7 is ideal for players who find the JG6 slightly tight and want more tonal body and projection without moving to a significantly different setup. It excels in solo and chamber settings where the E-flat needs to project clearly.
