Description
The Gleichweit B11-7 Bb clarinet mouthpiece is a very open with a long 28 mm facing, optimised for synthetic reeds – combining a free, expansive response with powerful projection and warm tonal depth.
Machined from your choice of high-grade synthetic material or hard rubber on advanced CNC equipment, the B11-7 features a 1.33 mm tip opening paired with a long facing designed with synthetic reed players in mind. The geometry ensures optimal response and vibration for modern synthetic reeds at this opening.
The built-in O-ring system ensures a secure, airtight fit while protecting the instrument tenon. The BES hard rubber version is supplied with a traditional cork-fitted tenon instead.
The B11-7 delivers a full, resonant sound that carries effortlessly in large spaces. It is an excellent choice for performers who rely on synthetic reeds for consistency and low-maintenance reliability.
Every version of the B11-7 shares the same facing and tip opening – only the material, the tenon fitting and the tuning pitch differ. Select your version in the Bore menu above.
