The most popular model in the Gleichweit line, the B7-4 is precision-crafted on advanced CNC machinery from your choice of high-grade synthetic material or hard rubber. Designed for players who prefer a closed tip opening similar to the Vandoren BD5, this mouthpiece offers an ideal balance of control, projection, and tonal richness.
The built-in O-ring system ensures a secure, airtight fit while protecting the instrument tenon. The BES hard rubber version is supplied with a traditional cork-fitted tenon instead.
The B7-4 delivers a centered, resonant tone with quick articulation, stable resistance, and excellent flexibility across all registers. It performs equally well in orchestral, chamber, and solo settings, with reliable response in the altissimo and a wide dynamic range.
