Description
The Gleichweit B8 Bb clarinet mouthpiece is a versatile Bb clarinet mouthpiece with a medium tip opening and short facing – combining quick articulation, even response, and a balanced tone that adapts to a wide range of playing styles.
Precision-crafted on advanced CNC machinery from your choice of high-grade synthetic material or hard rubber, the B8 delivers reliable consistency. The short 21 mm facing produces a direct, immediate feel – making it particularly responsive for fast passage work and light articulation.
The built-in O-ring system ensures a secure, airtight fit while protecting the instrument tenon. The BES hard rubber version is supplied with a traditional cork-fitted tenon instead.
From orchestral tutti to chamber playing, the B8 delivers a clean, balanced sound with dependable intonation and smooth transitions between registers.
Every version of the B8 shares the same facing and tip opening – only the material, the tenon fitting and the tuning pitch differ. Select your version in the Bore menu above.
